Tommy’s eleventh story in the Cutting School and Playing Games – series is here. This time, the game they’re playing is ‘Mystery Date’. Maybe it’s a European thing, maybe it’s just me, but I had never heard of this game. So, once again, ChatGPT to the rescue (I asked to write a description in a fun teen-girl-style summar):
“So it’s this super old board game called Mystery Date, and basically the whole point is to get ready for a date without knowing who you’re actually gonna end up with. You collect outfit cards—like, beach stuff, ski stuff, fancy dress—and when you think you’ve got the right look, you open this little door in the middle of the board. If the guy behind it matches your outfit, yay, you win. If not… well, sometimes it’s the total dud, which is hilarious. It’s kind of cheesy but also fun in that old-school, giggly sleepover way.”
Nope. This didn’t ring a bell… But the story is awesome! Another great example of Tommy’s talented writing and amazing skill to add depth and excitement to a sexy story. And there’s some real drama in this one, I can tell you that!
