Hi folks,

Just a quick message this time. Beating Off Bob replied to my e-mail I send him a few months ago. Jim pointed out that my story ‘All Dressed Up’ looks a hell of a lot lik Horsing Around For Halloween by BoB, found here and here.

I explained to him it was my own story and that I came up with it myself, but if he wanted me to delete it, I would. Turned out the main reason for his late reply is that he doesn’t use the pseudonym Beating Off Bob anymore. He switched over to Robert Lubrican. Now I know why I don’t see any new BoB stories anymore 🙂

He didn’t see any problems with my story. He said it happened to him too in the past; writing a story and someone mentioning ‘Hey! That looks a lot like this story…’ So thumbs up for Robert. You can check him out at https://www.robertlubrican.com/. Have fun!!

Update

I’m sorry for being silent for so long. I did update some pics in the Eye Candy part, but that’s about all. In the background, though, I’m working on a new story. I don’t want to give away too much, but it’s going to be another big one. Plus, and this is an absolute first for me, I’m collaborating with E-o-F on this one. I pitched the idea of the story to him, and he gave me some pointers and tips. AND he offered to write a chapter too. I’ve seen his work so far, and at 16K words already, it’s almost a story on its own. And it’s HOT!! I’m not even halfway myself, and I’m at 17K too. So yeah… another big one.

Honestly, there’s less freedom this way than when I’m writing by myself. We need to establish a lot of stuff before we can actually write. Simple things like hair color. But also story-wise, there’s a lot that needs to be tuned. I usually make it up as I go, which gives me more freedom. But this is impossible to do when you’re writing together. But I must also admit that the structure is way better this way. So writing this way has its advantages too.

Today I’m heading out for a vacation with my family, so don’t expect many updates in the coming weeks.

I didn’t want to keep you guys in the dark about this story any longer. But more patience is required, unfortunately.

The words I use already are also the words you like. And someone actually voted for fanny! Go figure…  I created a small graph, so it’s easy to see what word the winner is in which category.

Back again

After the enormous task of writing Smoky Mountains, a story still very dear to me, I needed a little break. At first, I felt guilty about doing so, but I quickly learned I really needed it. But a few days ago, I got that ‘writing itch’ again and started working on the story I had inside of me for a long time.

I never wrote any of my stories this fast, but I like it nevertheless. I know it isn’t anything rememberable story-wise. But there’s a lot of action, and I guess that’s why you’re here anyway. It’s about two boys who think they’re in trouble. They turn to the sister of one of them who’s babysitting. The title might give you a hint of what the trouble is…

To you guys, it might get old, but I do have to thank E-o-F again! His support is, without a doubt, much needed and very appreciated! And he does it selflessly every time! A lot of Kudos to you, Ed!! Thanks again!
